PUTTING my EXPERIENCE
to WORK
Since childhood, I've known what it's like to be on the outskirts of American Society, and to have to struggle to make ends meet, despite hard work, and a commitment to playing by the rules.
That's why, when I became an adult, one of the first in my family to graduate high school, and achieve a post-secondary education, I have maintained a commitment, and pursued every opportunity, to uplift and better the communities
in this country which I call home, and to which I belong.
From advocacy efforts that span the halls of Congress, to serving as an employer via owning my own small business, I know what countless Americans all over the country, and right here in D.C, are facing every day, in their efforts to make the American Dream work for them.
That's why I'm running to be D.C's next Shadow Representative - because at a time like this, at a crossroads like these, Washington needs a fierce advocate that knows how to work both sides of the table, and will fight tooth and nail for its People.
