SUPPORT our CAMPAIGN

A campaign for U.S Representative in the District of Columbia is a unique one. It effectively and essentially functions as the city's elected lobbyist, but is not subject to the District's Fair Elections Act (and thus is not eligible for public funds matching), and, along with Washington's two U.S Senators, are the only city-wide elected positions that are unpaid.

Despite these limitations, and there being no legal requirement to forego PAC or corporate influence funding, this campaign is still going to voluntarily comply with the tenets of the DCFEA, and refuse any donation from political action committees or corporate sources.

We believe that, in order for Washingtonians to truly have faith in their elected representatives, those representatives need to be beholden to no one but their constituents.

That said, campaigns are expensive endeavors, and we can't run the kind of operation we need to reach the people of this great city without you.

That's why we're asking for you to chip in, whatever you can, recurring, or one-time, and become a part of this historic effort to deliver a future you, and Washingtonians across the city, can be proud of.

We're in this together, and together, we can make a difference.

In Solidarity,

in this country which I call home, and to which I belong.
